2.3 Import Ingredients in Bulk

In this course, we'll talk you through the following items:

Learn how to import ingredients in bulk via the ingredient template.
Fill in the ingredient information and categories correctly.
Learn how to add packages to your ingredients using the package template.
Learn how to edit your existing ingredients using our templates.

Important to know: you can start with only the packaging file. This file contains the minimum required information needed for the food cost calculations, ordering and managing your stock. It is therefore not necessary to start with the ingredients file if you do not need this information right away. You can add this later.

Import your ingredients and ingredient packages

There are 2 templates: the ingredient file that covers all general information and the package file that covers all pricing, supplier name and package information.
